FAQ

Questions, answered

Does uppercase keep my line breaks?

Yes. Only letters change case. Layout, numbers, and symbols are left alone.

What happens to ß?

With the German locale, ß becomes ẞ (capital sharp S) instead of SS, which matches modern German orthography.

Is this a capital case converter?

All-caps is UPPER CASE. Capital case, cap case, and proper case usually mean Capitalized Case (each word starts with a capital). Use this page for shouting labels; use Capitalized Case for names.

Can I go back?

Use Undo in the toolbar, or switch to the lower case converter to convert uppercase to lowercase. Your original paste stays in the source field.
