FAQ

Questions, answered

Does Case Conversion Tool upload my text?

No. Every conversion runs in your browser with JavaScript. There is no account, no database, and no server-side processing of your paste.

How is Title Case different from Capitalized Case?

Capitalized Case lifts the first letter of every word. Title Case follows a style guide (AP, APA, Chicago, or MLA) so short words such as “and” and “the” usually stay lowercase, except at the start or end of the title. Capital case and proper case usually mean Capitalized Case, not ALL CAPS.

Can I convert camelCase and snake_case on the homepage?

Yes. Programming cases sit in a second row under the writing modes. Dedicated landing pages exist for the camel case converter, slug generator, and other naming tools.

Does the converter remember my text between tools?

Yes, for this tab. Your paste is stored in sessionStorage so you can jump from the homepage case converter to camelCase or the URL slug generator without copying again. It is not sent anywhere.

How do I convert uppercase to lowercase online?

Paste the text into the case converter above and choose lower case. Every letter is converted in this tab. That also covers capital to small letters, change all uppercase to lowercase, and convert from uppercase to lowercase.

Can I change uppercase to lowercase in Word or Excel here?

Yes as a faster alternative. Word uses Change Case or Shift+F3; Excel uses =LOWER(A1). For a whole export, paste into this uppercase to lowercase converter and paste the result back.

Does the slug generator support Arabic and bulk titles?

Yes. The URL slug generator keeps Arabic letters for SEO-friendly slugs and converts one title per line for bulk lists.

Can I convert a PHP or JavaScript array to JSON?

Yes. Open the array to JSON converter and paste a PHP array(), a JavaScript array, or Power Automate array output. Conversion stays in the browser.
